Online
craftsters Etsy and the DUMBO Improvement District are teaming up to present
“Hands-On: DUMBO”, an evening of festivities and DIY craft workshops to celebrate our beloved DUMBO, on June 26 from 5-8 p.m.
New Yorkers
will have a chance to explore this unique Brooklyn neigboorhood and get
crafty. Dewey’s and other local
businesses are opening their doors to the public and inviting attendees to come in and try
their hands at craft and DIY projects
in-store.

Dewey’s will
be showing people how to create their very own buttons using retro candy
wrappers. How cool is that? Candy conosuir Michele Boudreaux, who creates unusual lollipops will be leading the session inside Dewey's Candy Store. Check
out her lollipop creations, available through her very own Etsy shop, Lollipops By Milhow.
And if you’ve
never visited Dewey’s then you might not know we specialize in nostalgic
and retro
candy. We have over 100 varieties of
retro candy, including your childhood favorites like Wax Bottles, Pop Rocks,
Necco Wafers, Bonimo Turkish Bottle Caps, Bazooka, Candy Buttons, Fun Dips…the
list goes on and on.
So let’s get
